The Story:

Espen Knutsen was acquired from Hartford on Oct 1, 1996, sign a 1 year contract with the Ducks on July 15, 1997.

Played 19 games, with 3 goals - 0 assist and 6 PIM. that season.

Played his first ever regular season NHL game on Oct 3  in Japan vs Canucks.

Got his first NHL goal on Oct. 19, was assigned to Cinncinnati Nov. 20.
