Espen Knutsen startet the season with #47

(#21 was at that time taken by Igor Nikulin, who only had 1 PO game for the Ducks 96/97)

We belive that both Knutsen and Nikulin played pr. season for the Ducks,

Knutsen with #47 and Nikulin with #21,but Nikulin was sendt to Baby-Ducks before or at the start of the season.

We also know that Knutsen used #47 for both pr. season and Japan. As you can see from one of the cards in the scan,

Knutsen has the alt. home with #47 and playing the Kings. Since Kings and Ducks meet for pr. season action on Sep. 26 and

did not meet again in Anaheim before Jan. 24 for a regular seson game, it's safe to say that the card is from

that pr. season game because Knutsen was sendt to Baby Ducks on Nov. 20.

Thats why we strongly belive that both the alt home and road #21 and #47 on the cards is the same jersey.
